“Reader of the Year” competition

On the occasion of National Book Day on April 23, the university library organized the “Reader of the Year” competition as part of the “100 books.which every student of Yessenov University should read” project. This competition provided a great opportunity for students to develop a passion for reading and showcase their creative abilities.

During the event, students shared their thoughts and impressions about works included in the “100 books” list, and winners were selected in the following categories:

1. “Reader of the Year” – Tolegen Sandugash, 2nd-year student majoring in Mathematics
2. “Master of Literary Expression” – Rizbayeva Raushan Darkankyzy, 3rd-year student majoring in Philology
3. “Outstanding Poetry Reader” – Bazarbai Botagoz, 3rd-year student majoring in Philology
4. “Best Reader of Kazakh Classics” – Sultan Symbat Meiramgaliqyzy, 1st-year student majoring in History
5. “Best Reader of Foreign Literature” – Berdibai Zeynep Baktybaikyzy, 2nd-year student majoring in Foreign Languages
6. “Best Essay Writer” – Sakhieva Zhanulsyn Kalbaikyzy, 4th-year student majoring in Kazakh Language and Literature
7. “Most Dedicated Library Reader” – Ondaganov Nursultan, 1st-year student majoring in Philology
